the new shop truck/daily driver. just got it running and driving last friday. 87 3.2 w/webers, welded in a 73 911 rear torsion tube in place of the bus tube, then the 915 trans and rear suspension bolts right up. SC front brakes, 76 19mm m/cyl, rack and pinion steering, narrowed adjustable front beam. goes like stink. the engine lid is out getting some louvres punched in.

This is a pretty cool looking bus ... even if you're not into highly modified buses. This one looks like it should be on the drag strip. It really looks like it's movin' while it's standing still. I would love to hear it start up and blast off. So far I've seen it at 2 shows ... turned off. Maybe it will race by me on the way to OCTO this weekend?
