Here is a picture of my 1955 Single Cab at the German Parade in downtown Chicago. Guenther and Max from the Chicago Brauhaus rode on top and played music. We even had our own Maibaum (maypole) on board. We were a real crowd-pleaser and all the bunting covers up the rust nicely.

My home away for home. Got it fall 2000. Haven't spent to much time sleeping in it. I drive it everyday. It was in a bus meet deer collision before I got it. Some rear end damage. Most of that is fixed. Hopefully painted this spring. I'll be camping on the east coast. Thanks to this great site, I'll be at some campouts with you other splitty freaks.
