    04/09/06 Tom Avrutis Really nice bus. The 62 SO-33 is the rarestof the SO-33's , in my opinion , followed by the 63's. 62 was the first year of the SO-33 with most people back then it seems getting the flipseats. I am curious whether the mouse grey was the m coded stock color of that bus?
    See Also: Hall of Shame   1955 Camper (with semaphores). I found this bus up in the hills in California.

    I eventually rescued this bus - 5 years later!

    Here's a photo of my '66 SO 42 Westy at the Anderson VW Show in Crystal Lake IL last September. "Osterbus" as we call her and I are proud members of Der Busbesitzer Gruppe.

    See Also: Rare Buses and Parts  Single Cabs  Special Interest   1961/62 "Tieflader" (flat-loader). These were built for the governement road work crews by Westfalia. It could be used as a normal single cab and in no time half of the loading space could be changed to a flat loader with huge side doors. It was delivered with a big tool box with upholstered top so that 3 more workers could be seated in the loading space.
