| 06/04/02 | vwcampin | this bus is actually a Sportsmobile made by a company originally from Indiana. it has a straight up poptop like a riviera, but the rivieras had a front fiberglass luggage area where the sportsmobiles had the metal rack in front. sportsmobiles also had 2 pane crank out windows where the rivieras had sliders. |

I used to live near there and it was indeed a favorite weekend drive. . . and, ironically, that bridge was popular choice for suicides. I wonder how many people decided not to jump when inspired by the beauty of the area. |
