Ray Bradshaw with the ShagMobile, his daily-driver 1959 Mango standard.
It's sportin' several protective layers of Rustoleum paint, to keep the original paint fresh underneath. You can also see where the driver's side panel was wiped out years ago by a hit-and-run driver. Some expanding foam, a little bondo, and it's as good as new!

Here's some pix of Ray Bradshaw's 59 (formerly) Mango standard walk-thru, with the complete shag treatment. He bought this bus in the early 70's, and has driven it almost daily ever since. It has probably 700k on it, and has been all over the western US, Canada and Mexico. Even one of his children was conceived in this bus! It's also one of the quietest buses you'll ever ride in; I've even had the privelege of driving it!

hello... i am uploading a pic of a bus which i really loved .. i have a few pages containing some of your pics on my site ..( if you don`t bother ...because i`ve taken some from here ) but i am a very mad on these vans i am from malta and i wish to find a 23 window but it seems that hre are very rare ..... regards jeoffrey ..
