    Here's another cooling system for single cabs in dusty climates. Unlike the Aus system of scooping air above the windscreens and ducting it under the load bed to the engine compartment, this sytem features "ear" scoops each side of the cab, with similar ducting under the load bed to the engine. Note how two cab rear panels have been used back-to-back to make a hollow duct for the cooling air. I have only seen this system on two pick-ups, both assembled in South Africa and both 1967 models. I don't know when single cabs were first assembled in SA, but earlier models were imported fully built up.

    09/18/02 Johnny Beer Guzzler I need one of those so the ol lady dont gotta ride with me.Her and the dependents can ride on the back. I remember this one time she was back sassin me and i made her ride in the underniethin compartment till we got to the circle K. I thought it was a hoot cause on the way back we stopped by ol man dixons farm cause he had those crook neck chickens for sale an i done got a dozen of em and puttem in there with the ol lady till we got back to the house. Did i ever tell ya'll the story about the crook neck chickens? Well ya see if the stay in the egg too long and dont hatch on time they get a crooked neck and they come out lookin up in the air but if you can overlook that they are alright cause there cheap

    09/18/02 Herr von Dingleberry Was this converted by a plumbing contractor? It looks great for hauling a conoe or kayak. Those taillights and bumpers are worth a pretty penny alone.
