| 03/27/06 | tim moran | Obviously a theme restaurant hung the skinny slice of the 356 as decoration on a wall....I have seen it done with an early 21 windowed bus a beach burger place down on 2nd. St. in Belmont Shores , Ca. back in the early 1990's. But why should we
be shocked at this display? Bare with me here for some irony and a bit of black humor.......This "slice and dice "thing started up when we were all kids and saw Mr. P showing us how convenient it was with the "miracle slicer" "y...ya put the onion in dare like this and with one flick of the wrist... and "Forget it!".....soon you too wanted to start making salad with a chain saw and juicing with a sledge hammer right? ...well some people can't stop there and this image is the CSI crime scene and tragic concept that is carried out by a guy who shops the Rigid tool truck running his sweaty palms over dry wall saws.... maybe, but probably done by freaks with eye bulging gleeful grin ala Jack N. as the Joker...a true madman's smile of their face! HA HA Ha Ha Haaaaa! Here's Johnny! When these guys finally get caught and grilled under the bare light bulb years later and in a in a straight jacket (strangely like Jack N. again?) and they get around to searching their garages...they usually the really hard core sicken souvenirs ....they find oil barrels filled with what started their sick little fetish...bus dash board radio hole left overs! ...then they always confess to progressing on the bigger thrills like rear wheel wells openings on old buses! The final stages of this sickness I like tot call them the "Porsca-Filers" as they have become surgical wunderkins in their debauchery (like their Bavarian goose steppin' grandfatherlanders) they like snappin' the latex gloves on like your proctologist and use a surgical high speed air grinder with a diamond cutting wheel! "Ya now we talkin/' vee bee lyk da Dahmer -Bent ? for sure! " You definitely don't want to run across one of these nuts in Dusseldorf barber shop and get a hair cut from him! You just might yourself perpetually visiting museums of science and industry where you will be pickled in plastic and peeled like an onion playing "FOuTBALL!" or something like that and being gawked at by slack jawed yokels of every nation in a totally politically correct display now in this century for what we hung their relatives for 50 years ago....go figure that out? |

| 05/18/05 | Mike | What history, is this a historic car. Did it do something special, or was it owned by someone special. What is the big deal? |
| 05/11/05 | FRED | I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHO IN THE WORLD WOULD "CLIP" A VALUABLE PIECE OF HISTORY THAT WAY, AND WHY? |
| 05/04/05 | Rikki James | No, no, no! :-( |

| 04/23/06 | Andre Sampaio | Those photos are from the Kombi produced here in Brazil.
Due to polution emission level laws it's not produced anymore like in the photo. Since 2006 VW-Brazil changed to a water-cooled motor. |
