    1960 RHD Double Cab in South Africa. Note the suicide rear passenger door. It's the same door as on the LHD buses, just moved to the other side, so the hinges are to the rear instead of the front.

    I live in Japan. This homepage is very useful, and moreover it is interested in it. I have the interior, 67Westy of the exterior full original, 46Teardrop Trailer, 73Panel (RHD), 99New Bug. The image of 67Westy is attached. It likes VW and camping very much, and it is a "VW CAMPMOBILE CLUB OF JAPAN" chief executive officer. At present, 70 TYPE-2s belong to this club. Every year, hold a club meeting, and it enjoys camping with 50 TYPE-2s in April. Ask this as a friend in the opportunity. Forgive it though English can't be written well. It lets me see a homepage happily from this as well.

    YES! The 'hardbody' reached it's new homebase. After a 17-hour-trip trough germany... I was complete wracked, but happy! On the wrong pic below you can see my 2 busses. It's taken during a stop for chillin' down the engine.

    Hey VinageBus-freaks! This is my 8.63 vinage bus. Here in Germany we call 'em 'Bulli', or T1. It's a former crewbus used by the german red cross. The original color was grey, but one of the other owners painted the bus in the way you can see it now. I bought the 'hardbody' in october 2000 and paid 1300 DM (~590$) for this sweety.

    We were actually able to drive the deluxes home.... The crewcab however was stubborn and we had to use a ch#vy to coax it out of there. This crewcab is now in a friends loving hands in Hales Grove, CA. in the midst of the Redwoods.
