    Karl von Salzen hit a car today, 4/27/04, after it cut in front of him. He was thrown out the driver's door and came to 5-10 minutes later. Bruises, bumps and a cut ear. He'll be OK, but the bus won't be on the road again.

    back that really is nothing ( believe me)

    06/16/05 herbert I can see that you live in a "first world" country where a little damage is the end. This damage is nothing, you would see our "3rd. world" body-thin repair shops!! they are magicians!!
    03/20/05 Harry Houck It's back on the road. A body shop pulled it straight enough to drive. Driver's door doesn't fit, so it's been taken off. Karl's been driving it for 9 months.

    Unkown, I just it a VW
    This is the logo bar for the auto section of a german online newspaper. I looks like a VW from what I can see, but can't decide. The lights and wheels, remind me of VW. Any Ideas what it could be?

    Col d' Jeux pass, French Alps 2004 The pass was closed at this time - turned into a ski piste / trail after the next 100m. Shooting into the sun - never a good idea, damn was it bright up there though!

    Here is my 1975 Fleetline panelvan with Jean Viljoen's 75 Fleetline Kombi at a viewsite on False Bay, between Gordon's Bay and Rooi Els. Fleetlines were Brazilian RHD buses assembled in South Africa in 1975, one year only.

    My 1975 standard/combi, ensambled in Peru, with brasilian parts... (In Peru splitwindows where still ensambled until late 70's and have some features of newest buses as the rear corner windows). Isnt it beatufull? Still some work to do... I need a VW camper blueprints...

    this van was restored around 6 years ago, and surprisingly, has'nt been to any shows since being restored, i have owned it since last winter and intend to do as many shows as i can this year so look out for this van,,,,

    The Shaggin Wagon is one of a kind. She was bought, repaired by a local oldies station in Raleigh, NC. If you know what the dance is the Shag...well, say no more. If not, you should learn to Shag just for owning a bus. Have a real nice day! Fixing, (of course that's southern), I thank him everyday, to take off on a long road trip..just me and my best traveling partner, my dog. Right now I am a-little perturbed at her. She only does what she wants. Can't figure out where she became this way from.
