The fuel tap fits through the rectangular hole and the cable if secured to the tab on the frame. I'll post a new pic when it's all together.

Heater cable tube repair

Both of the heater tubes in the engine compartment of the 59 dc were messed up. To fix the one side, I found some brass tubing that just fits the OD of the original tubing. I'll fill in with a bit of epoxy, sand smooth and paint.

1958 Kombi rolling shell. '64 rear end, straight body, some good metal. Was a LENNOX service vehicle long ago, with signage on the sides which is barely visible under paint. $485 obo. need to sell, pick it up in Tulsa.

mexican blankets make great seat covers. FIRST YOU MUST BUY THE BLANKET,A GOOD SIZE ONE ,FOLD THE BLANKET IN HALF THEN YOU MUST FIND YOUR CENTER LINE AND CUT THE BLANKET IN HALF,SAVE A HALF BLANKET AND PUT IT ASIDE,TAKE THE OTHER HALF AND FOLD IT IN HALF,NOW FIND YOUR CENTER LINE AND CUT IT IN HALF,NOW YOU HAVE TWO PIECES,THOSE ARE FOR THE FRONT SEATS,AND THE OTHER HALF IS FOR THE BENCH SEATIN THE BACK,......YOU JUST GRADUATED FROM THE SCHOOL OF THE $20.00 SEAT COVERS.....do it in your own risk!!!!!
