This is my 63 Kombi which was located in the desert in New Mexico. I purchased it 6 months ago from the guy who rescued it. A total restoration is planned and in progress. The OEM rack and Awning/Tent setup was a GOOD Find this past weekend on a lone 66' Kombi in the desert near Estancia NM. A great Deal at $100! Thanks Joe!

12/18/02 eric i just purchased a 63a few days ago.. it has the middle seat which i'm seling.. it's was taken out and put into storage 25 years ago and it's perfect..i mean no flaws at all ..museum quality easily..if interested let me know

Well here it is a 64 21 window walkthru project, purchased for $75.00 . With the crazy Prices these things are fetching, I guess $75.00 for this one is a start.

Putting wide rims on the 59 double cab
15" x 6" wheels with a positive offset do not fit well under the wheel well so I have to narrow the rear axle, axle tube, and spring plates by 3/4".
