Look, no cooling vents ... Here's another cooling system for single cabs in dusty climates. Unlike the Aus system of scooping air above the windscreens and ducting it under the load bed to the engine compartment, this sytem features "ear" scoops each side of the cab, with similar ducting under the load bed to the engine. Note how two cab rear panels have been used back-to-back to make a hollow duct for the cooling air. I have only seen this system on two pick-ups, both assembled in South Africa and both 1967 models. I don't know when single cabs were first assembled in SA, but earlier models were imported fully built up.

OK, dimwits. Here's a computer lesson for you. Look at the picture above. See the big RED arrow? See it? Look at what it's pointing to. Can you see the blue letters? Huh? Can you? That's the link to the email address of the person who posted the picture. Try clicking on it next time you want to ask if a bus is for sale. Posting a comment for all of us to see is akin to walking out to the mall parking lot and seeing a car you like and screaming at the top of your lungs, "HEY IS THIS CAR FOR SALE?". Most *normal* people would leave a private note asking the question. I know this may be a difficult concept for you AOL users, but give it a shot.

The curved ears face towards the dashboard. It has 2 screw holes (at top, not shown) to attach it to the dashboard, which correspond to screw holes in the bottom lip of the dashboard, underneath the grill opening. Accepts a round 6-inch speaker.
