10/14/03	Susan Andronico	Could anyway take a minute and let me know HOW you can tell the difference between a Westfalia or a regular camper? Feel free to email me directly. I just bought a 1966 Bus, Its a project, but its almost all there. I have all the interior pieces except of course the refridgerator, Most of the wood panels are tired, but still there, No door panels, but all the windows are good, louver windows are good, screens are good, all but two knobs are there, and the body is straight with little surface rust, She's a California girl!! She even has her lighter, no original radio, but does have an era radio that will be replaced with the newest tune player. I will hopefully be adding some pics in the future of my own. She needs a little body work, but hey at her age don't we all need to get in shape? I love her!!! I can't wait to get started... I would appreciate any information that anyone could provide. I used to own a bug. Cal bugged her into a treasure. That was 3 children ago. I know nothing about Buses! But I LOVE THEM!

02/24/05	David	That center brake light looks amost like the back-up lights became standard on bay windows but with different numbers on the lense. Last time I saw canter brake lights was on Chrysler products in the forties and on cars made in the last fifteen years. Are the red lenses still made?
11/27/03	Patrick Hall	I have a 1965 Camper. The previous owner took the pop up and replaced it with some really bad looking tin. Where can I find a pop up? Its the small pop up. 3' by 3'. I am doing a total restoration.

07/25/03	Mike	I think the reason they were sought after is because they were not common. It sure isn't because they look good.

I replaced the electrical control cable on my Ruthmann v80 this past weekend. In the process I had to seperate the ruthmann from the truck. What fun. follow the link for the whole story.

Here is our camper that we have recently lowered at the front. I seek your advice on lowering the rear of our camper. as you can see, the front has already been done, it is so low that our number plate came off on a test run! we want to lower the rear slightly to get rid of the huge slant we have at the moment but without removing the reduction boxes and fitting IRS we also want the rear wheels to tuck into the arches so that it will be lowered also we have much wider front and rear wheels which have been modified. does anyone know of any simple cambering kits or any tricks that would help us?

Engine in my 65 westy, a mystery 1600?DP. It used to be in the 61, so still has the triangle bracket under the coil. The inline fuse on the right side of the fan shroud is for the reverse light switch. It has a '67 bug rear tin with two 1" pre-heat holes, oil temp guage wire running through the left one. It has a small (6V) generator pulley on it.

2" diameter 68 & later upright pre heat pick up tube. Note that the little tin above the tube has to match the tube or it won't fit.

This is the longer, bent style of pick up tube. This picture is taken from under the left side of the engine, with the oil pump at the top left. The tube goes from by the 1,2 head back, then bend up to the rear tin. You can see the paper tube on the end of the pick up tube.
