Towed 35 miles from Big Sur to her new home in Pacific Grove. Has no engine yet. Has not run in over a year. No brakes yet. She is a 57 kombi/panel combination double door. Her original color was the stock blue grey, which is what I aim to return her to. She is lowered a little in the front. steering is not that bad. transmission apparently OK.

09/23/02 Timmy What grade are you in? I'm in the 5th grade at General Robert E Lee Elementary here in Nashville, TN. Someday I want a van like that. I have a lawn business right now but that ain't helping much.
09/23/02 Thom I was just playing around after school one night - I took this pic with my Sony Mavica digital camera.
09/23/02 Buswerks Pretty neat picture though....
09/23/02 Sean Try using 1000 speed film and using a tripod. Any shutter speed slower than 30 will blur in your hands because the lense is open so long and you WILL shake it enough to blur the image.

10/08/02 busper Thnx very much Dando, good to know there are other people who feel the same way. Take care.
10/08/02 Dando Fredo Bravo!! Dando too has been victim of mean post, and Dando agrees, all must stop. Dando's english is not good very much. Thank you for saying what Dando has hard time expressing.
10/08/02 busper Oh, also I didn't say anyone...including you, a "sorry s.o.b.", I said some people are rude and mean, you are one of them evidently. This is for VW talk and comments which is supposed to be cool, bashing and saying stupid crap about someone is not, especially if you do not KNOW them. If you wanna bash and get cruel then go to another site where it is tolerated and express yourself freely. Why does the picture of this guy's bus look so scary? I don't get it? Just because he has boxes and tools to support his habbit and addiction and love for working on VW's? Helping other VW folk fix their ride and all that jazz is a dirty, filthy, greasy job and he evidently has devoted his time to doing that and if you really worked on your VW then I am sure like Chris said in a earlier post that you should understand the fact of why this guy has a greasy shirt and appeal. You would have one in your closet too if you actually worked on your VW. You see, I work on VW's as a side job (I have many clients too) and as a hobby (I have 7 pre-'67 VW's and 5 post '67)and I certainly don't wear my "Polo" dress shirts as I lay on the ground and get greasy, I wear clothes that look as good if not WORSE than what 'ol Lloyd is wearing and my hair is probably that dirty if not worse after laying on the ground and getting oil and cv grease in it. And keep in mind that I work in a very reputable Law firm as a professional in the field during my normal work week, you would never know it too if you met me on a VW workin' weekend 'cause I more than likely would be wearing my greasy old bug-o-rama t-shirt and torn crusty blue jeans, or in the court-room in my "work" clothes. So to judge Lloyd as a dirty filthy piece of crap is just wrong when you don't know him, that is my point, opinion, view-point, whatever you may think it is. And also, accusing someone of child abuse/rape is against most state laws and is good grounds for a nasty law-suit, I should know, you don't, go away to your little "la-la-la" land.
10/08/02   Busper, I'm sorry. "I don't even know what I'm saying here", at least that's the "jist" I am sending here. I gotta go watch some more T.V.
Bye bye
10/08/02 busper Opinions yes, and what do you think my posts are? opinions right aren't they? so whats your point? Am I missing something here? I'll bet you don't even know what you are saying here, at least thats the "jist" I am getting here, do you think your are smart or something? Get real, lay off this stupid deal here and this guy who is trying to make a business for himself and go watch some more t.v.
10/08/02   Busper, yes respect is a good thing, but in this country so is freedom of speech and opinion. I do not know Lloyd, but from the look of his bus, and dress I wouldn't let him near my kids, let alone my bus........of course that's my OPINION!!
So while your callin everybody sorry S.O.B.'s for having an opinion. ask yourself this, "am I the pot, or the kettle"?
10/08/02 busper Well you see, you don't even know this guy and here you and everyone else is attacking him and have no idea to what kind of person he is and neither do I to be truthful, but you see there is this thing called RESPECT, evidently you don't have any and people should have none for you as well but that is just the way it goes any more these days. I wouldn't cross the street to spit on you.
10/08/02   So busper what is up with you and this guy? Seems like you would volunteer to suck the venom from a snake bite on this guy no matter where it was.

hehehe, you weiner bitter!
10/08/02   Boy if a picture could smell bad it would be this one!
10/05/02   His clean clothes are in the locked box, but he lost the F***G key, obvious really, so stop kickin his ass about the the way he looks.
10/04/02 Concerned Party I wonder what he keeps in the locked metal box. Perhaps the owner of the pink lunchbox with the dirt on it. How did that dirt get there...oh wait he looked at it.
10/03/02 Folsom Bubba Hey busper, when your done tossin Lloyds salad.
How 'bout giving me a lick.
10/03/02 busper You guys are all crazy, just look at all this stuff he carries with him!! HE KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING!! I mean VW's are prone to breakdown, and this guy has got you covered, if he knew who you wuses were I wouldn't stop to help ya if you were brokedown and I was Lloyd, but you know what, I bet Lloyd is a very nice guy and *would* stop to help you, even though you are a JERK!! Very impressive Lloyd!!
