| 01/30/04 | fig | That is the emblem for the East African Safari Rally, now known as the Safari Rally, a notoriously tough motor rally which has been run every year since forever. I doubt that any VW bus ever competed, but a few Beetles used to enter in the 1950s and 1960s. |
