DON 'The Emissary' SERIBUTRA
Not too many in H-town's art car community would notice where several VWs have been used as art cars - the VW T1 and T2 is considered old school when it comes to art cars. Everyone would base their art cars on non-VWs since the T1 and T2 have been sought after as collector's items. In the background, Planet Karmann (a 71 Karmann Ghia) and the Sun Goddess (a 67 Kombi) are sandwiched between 2 Chevrolet pickups (88 C2500 - known as the Pink Slip) and the Montrose Patriot (81 K5 Blazer 4 x 4). Although I am the current docent to the Montrose Patriot (which is a current daily driver), some of my art car entourage include aircooled VWs.

This is the start middle and end of alot of work and hassle but of course soooo worth it. I only managed to do this with help from some good friends totally into their buses and all things VW... thankyou shaun, james, dad, nick, jem, abs, and mike.

11/01/04 Caroline Dude, who doesn't love VW buses? I'm getting one, hopefully this coming March. I'll be 16 this June, so I've already got a permit and FINALLY one my way to getting a bus. I hope I find one that at least runs well and is in reasonably good shape, the rest I can handle. E-mail me sometime, since you apparently share my love of the almighty Bus! Nice deisgn that you drew there as well ^_- Toodles.

If anyone is famaliar with the dance the Shag, your a very lucky person. This dance has been around since the 40's, but orginated as The Shag in the 50's in North Myrtle Beach, known as OD, (Ocean Drive). What kinda luck could a girl have who has shagged all her life to find this treasure.
