I got this '62 Kombi for free after stopping in every other day asking about it for weeks. Before this it was painted in green and black cammo. On the tow home I had to lean out the window to steer since the windshields were painted black. You should have seen the looks on my neighbors faces when I got it home! It donated its running gear so that my wife and I could make a cross-country trip. I put a set of Porsche Fuchs on it and then gave it a fellow Bus nut. Note the Kewl Rossi headlight rings and sano shaved cargo door handles!

This happened in PL (europe) at a VW Meeting in Warsow, my split sliped in the Vistula River Total accident! We pulled it out, chainged the oil and fired it up. It ran all the way home (400km) , but the regulator bustad on the way
