This is my Zebra Bus, inspired by the safari game viewing buses I remember from my childhood. It is a 1975 "Fleetline" Kombi. These were assembled in South Africa one year only from Brazilian CKD kits. There were three variants, the 15-window Kombi as shown, panelvans, and wide-bodied pick-ups. These RHD buses were probably the last splitties built anywhere in the world.

This is a shop down the street from me, 40 years ago. The original emblem was removed from that bus and replaced with a blaupunkt emblem.I aquired that perfect orig emblem and that pic from a sale after the old man died.

Hi all the barndoor lovers. My second Barndoor, 20-043491 (Jan53), I bought this Kombi in England (Kent),the owner before was Clive Williams, a very cool guy, This barn is very complete but the bottom of the body is very!!! rust, there are a lot of hole (floor). Clive doing a incroyable work, in effect all the part were full restored. Soon the body will be restored but this moment I prefer finish my 51 Panel. Sbastien ps: Thank Clive and see you.

We found Bessie in pieces at the Jerome Jambore years ago--It took us almost a years to get Bessie back on the road--Some of the graphics have been freshened up. The graphic on the drivers side is of Jerry Garcia and was done by the noted arist R Wall. Many thanks to all of Bessie's friends who made thai dream possible--
