01/29/03 Tony Jules when are you going to add more comments, so I can take the piss. I used to really enjoy visiting this site. Oh by the way look up zorbing, looks ace.
11/03/02   On my old bay the Bi metal choke spring had snapped keeping the choke open but it was usually not a prob till the engine had started warming up and it needed to close. took longer than 5 Secs.
11/03/02   Acc cable sticking?
11/03/02 Spengdog Every time I start up, the motor revs hard, holds the revs for about 5 seconds then dies. I stripped and cleaned the carb and fuelpump, everything looks fine, f#@ked if I know what to check next! Any ideas?
11/02/02 jules Stripped & rebuilt carb as per instructions. just hope it will work. Why what prob you having?
11/02/02 Spengdog I think the true identity is Nancy, 'Spungen' or 'boy' - it's your call Jules!
by the way, you any good with carbs?
10/31/02 Jules Johnny rotten EH! aka Sid Vicious by any chance????? Post the pic dude. Still not seen 'THE RIDE'
10/31/02 Ben Pon This is an OG muffler light..They were real big with the show circuit a few years back.
10/30/02 Johnny Rotten I'd go ahead and drill a hole in the dash since theres a big one in the roof that didn't come with the bus. Wont hurt the value any.
10/30/02 Tony It wont look as bad as the plank, driving...
10/29/02   unknown pedigree? was it a pitbull, rottwieller, or a great dane?
10/28/02 Jules Yea, not sure. It was in a box full of other Volksie bits, but unknown pedigree. Just hoped one of you lads might reconize it as the rarest of rare!!!!!
10/27/02 Unknown I would only drill the dash for that if it was an original Hebmuller
10/27/02 Scott LOL, That is from a GMC or Chevy Pickup bumper. From the mid 70's and 80's.
10/26/02 Tom Mink Looks like a truck license plate light to me. I wouldn't drill MY dash for it.

Ex-Australian Airforce Mobile Air Traffic Control Tower Based on a 1967 double door panel van. Converted in 1970-1971 by the RAAF. Used to deploy Mirage jet fighters and F-111 to battle on excersise and then control them on their return. Originaly had a trailer with an airconditioner and generator on it. The air was pumped through the duct at the back and exited through punker leouvres on the inside. It was manned by two controllers. I Recently restored it in Darwin,Northern Territory,Australia.
