05/20/03 greg Nice! What 3D app did you use, and did you build the bus from scratch?

05/24/03 Ross That is one fat bus! All the best to whoever built it, was wondering what engine it runs on, and any other pics of the interior layout?

My wife and i picked up the bay in Scotland while living there to travel Europe. After an Aussie "house enamel" paint job, re-fit with fridge(for beer), hinging stove near sliding door, c.d.,new bed and more storage we were off for 4 1/2 months. Making carbi gaskits somewhere in Germany was fun!

I'm from Melbourne, and picked up this pop-top camper locally about a year ago, and money permitting will be started on shortly. Good to know there are still some good cheap splitty's around!

07/12/03 ernie its a riviera built by asi in vancouver,WA. i have a 76 in maine.previous owner made the trip in 99 from oregon with 173,000miles
04/22/03 Jeremy Your bus is a Riviera camper conversion.
04/20/03 Cale McCann Nice VW Camper. Your specific model was converted by ASI Riviera. I think that ASI Rivieras are better then the Westfalia's by far. They hold up really good and you have more room in them. Go to these websites for more info(make sure that you copy the website exactly how I have it, otherwise they wont work): http://www.geocities.com/vwcampin/asirivieralinks.html

    http://members.tripod.com/~wetwesties/riviera/index.html
and more pics at my Yahoo Website:

The Red 1969 and a 1/2 Rivi is mine and the Yellow 1969 Rivi sold on ebay for $8600.00 dollars. That tells you that Riviera's are highly collectable.

Hello from Malaysia... Here are some pics of my bus. Believe to be brought into Malaysia in 1971 by staff of the Royal Australian Airforce base in Butterworth, Malaysia. Modifications include a 1600cc fuel injection engine and air-conditioning to suit our hot climate. A 'home designed' caravan conversion has also been added. See the pics and tell me what you think...

04/13/03 khoo The aircond blower is located at the rear with 2 aircond ducts running the lenght of the bus. You can then make cuts in the ducting to put in the aeroplane style consoles. Note that your ceiling will be lower by 1 inch. I've removed the original air ducting and modified it to hide my audio head unit inside.
04/04/03 alexander Rivero I like to know about the a/c unit model and airplane tipe instalation on this combi, Im realy in shock with this work !ist georgeus.
I like to do it to my combi.

04/08/03 Edmundo Cabao Your 'home designed' caravan conversion is absolutely amazing.
I haven't got any VW Bus, but I'm looking for one here is Portugal (is rare) and when I find it, thats the work I would like to do in the interior, because the van is to be driven in the summer all over Europe with my girlfriend. Could you send me detailed pictures of those seats/table that turn into bed ?
The air conditioned is also cool.

04/01/03 Mike You say "you need to lower your van". Why is this, is it difficult for you to park in the garage, you are a short person by birth, or you think buses dont look good stock height?
