My m/c res disintegrated in my hands, so I took a piece of PVC tubing and patched in a 60's bug reservoir. It works, and it almost looks stock.

This are one of 200 limited edition of the last buses made with air cooled engine. This brazilian special edition are caaled Serie Prata = (Silver series)are powered with 1600 fuel injection engine, special silver paint, mate black bumpers and head lights frames, gren glasses. The new Kombis will came with 1.4 water cooled engine, the same angine of Brazilian car called FOX, has about 80hp engine. The last pic show how it will looks like. The word says good bye to the legend of VW Air cooled engines with this special Bus from Brasil.

So my friend Tom sells this bug body (the pan is going under my new '56 oval) and they *thought* they were going to carry it home in the bed of their truck. There was no way in hell that was going to work, so I offered to take deliver it my single cab.

The guy at the rock-and-gravel yard thought I was crazy when I asked for a full yard of 1/2" crushed crock. He told me there was no way a VW could carry that much. By the time I picked up the 3rd load, he had to accept the fact that, yes, a 1600cc engine can haul ~2800 lbs of rock.
