pics are'nt to clear but you can see the lever bracket at the end of the cylinder. The cylinder pushes out 5" which pushes down on the lower arm 5". Tube with hiem joints from lever to lower shock mount not installed yet.

11/27/03 jeff simmons I narrowed the beam 4" to get the tires back inside, but when down on the ground they do not turn. I'm trying to come up with an easy way to get some turning radius out of it.

NOT restorable, 1 mile through the woods just to find it, no floor and heavy dented. Doeas not have a rear window from factory but a net was added to have some rear view.

This is a newspaper from a german university association from December 1949!!! It has a articel with a test about the "new VW micro-bus". Aka. The Barndoor! I bought it on Ebay.

SSVC's Autumn Fair SSVC's Autumn Fair

The SSVC will be holding it's first Autumn Fair at the Ace Cafe on the 8th November. It will be a type of car boot sale event for all club members and other's individuals, to sell those bits and bob's that have been stuck in the garage/loft, that are not wanted, (to be sold from your vehicle, no tables, no traders stalls etc). 10:30 am till 4:30 pm All proceeds will be going to cancer research. We have bands and dj's playing over the course of the day plus trophies for the best three vehicles that trade (visitors choice), supplied by Terry's Beetles (sponsors). The Slough Swap Meet is the next day (Sunday the 9th of November), so I have organized a camp site for those of you who would like to make a weekend of it. They charge 10 per night plus 2 for an electric hook up. The camp site is 4 miles from Slough so the location is perfect, and open to all! here is my kombi i have searched for all over the world and finally found all original un touched un painted australian delivery van the kombi was used in austalia before being bought by a japanese car collector where it stood in a warehouse for 25 years before it was shipped back to austalia the to me in england so you can say its done a few miles underside is like new no underseal just perfect a few dints here and their but hay its 42 years old original engine it still has the sticker on the fan coul giving tappet clearance drives like a dream starts fist time every time i love it if any one would like some pics please mail cheers mike
