Having undone the lowering job in both the rear and front of my '67 21 Window, the change in handling is amazing. Much less wandering at speed, and it doesn't feel like a fairground ride anymore. I was feeling motion sick after just a few miles. Still a few minor problems to fix, then it'll be pure stock. See it at BYOB

Tom's '67 21 Window is back on the road! It took over a month to get the new transmission, used reduction boxes and spring plates. The rear end is now totally stock, the front will be done later.

03/15/03 Thom I'm noticing a trend towards raising buses to stock height, judging by the requests for spring plates, reduction boxes and t-bars.

Spun the splines on the modified rear end (type 1 transmission, no IRS) about 10 miles north of Portland. Rented a uhaul truck and trailer for the rest of the journey. So much for the maiden voyage.

05/16/03 Eric I think I saw that same bus for sale in San Diego, CA last summer. Did it have AZ plates on it?? I wanted to but it but I was a little short on the 20 grand!
03/05/03 Tom Duffy I have the original wheels, the bus is currently
at VolksAuthority in San Jose,CA having the rear end put back to stock. The EMPIs will probably go up for sale after I put the OG ones on.
