This is a 68' bay window bus that runs great and has a 6" lift. It drives good and handles like any other bus just higher. We are looking to sell it so we can get a dbl cab truck. It has a 1600 with dual port racing heads and dual solex carbs. We had the front suspension redone from wagen works in Shelton WA and all of the motor upgrades. It sits on 33" swampers and 31s in front. It is a clean canvas inside for you to do what you like. Outside is a bit rough but is in good mechanical condition. i have had this since 1990. it was my first vehicle. now in the next year my wife and i are going to restore it. it works fine but it has a 1972 ford motor in it. it also has a radiator as seen from the rear photo with the scoop.

08/22/06 judith maduro i'm working in a orphan house in aruba and coming year we r going 2 celebrate 50 years.we r colecting some info from what all they had during these 50 years.so a coleage told that they had a volkswagen bus in 1982.i was wondering if u have a pic of some information of vw 1982 of around those years for we,so that we can hang them up during the big celebration next year.thank you.(masha danki)

Last night i finaly make the fumes and smel of gas stop inside my bus, by using poliestilene foam and some silicone glue for smal places. To find where to glue, i use a flashlight inside the engine compartment (at night), while im in the bus looking for the spots to insulate.-------- Finalmente resolvi o problema de cheiro de gaz carbonico e gasolina dentro da kombi. Usei uma espuma spray, que cresce 70% do tamanho depois de aplicada para isolar os espaos maiores, e cola de silicone para os menores. Para achar os lugares por onde o ar passa usei uma lanterna detro do compartimento do motor(a noite), e de dentreo da kombi achei os pontos a serem colados. Ficou muito bom o resultado.

This image was made with a homemade slit shutter camera. I mounted the camera onto a tripod that allowed for a continuous 360-degree rotation. I attempted to hand wind the film while at the same time hand turning the camera to cause a 360 mapping of the inside of my VW. The trick is to do both of these movements in the same time (parallel) for the image to be understood. I used a Hasselblad 40mm lens to take in the interior of the VW and I kept winding the film while panning the camera until the entire length of 120 roll film had been exposed. I have been working on a motorized version of this camera but I feel the look of the "operators hand" in the image would be lost... and it would then just be a panoramic camera.
