finally got the middle seat and kick panel for the standard so I drove the standard and my dad drove the westy up to the train depot for the obligatory photo shoot.

I went out to look at this bus a few weeks back. the guy who had it actually though that it was restorable. it is rusty, there are dents on every panel, extra holes everywhere, and there is a huge hack over the engine compartment. you could actually change the axle boots from the rear seat in this bus. it is original paint. the guy was fishing for $400 for the bus. I offered $100 which I thought was more than fair. I think that $200 would get it.

my westy was squealing, pulling and grabbing for some new brakes up front. NOS riveted brake linings and NOS wheel cylinders did the trick just fine.
