This is a 68' bay window bus that runs great and has a 6" lift. It drives good and handles like any other bus just higher. We are looking to sell it so we can get a dbl cab truck. It has a 1600 with dual port racing heads and dual solex carbs. We had the front suspension redone from wagen works in Shelton WA and all of the motor upgrades. It sits on 33" swampers and 31s in front. It is a clean canvas inside for you to do what you like. Outside is a bit rough but is in good mechanical condition. 08/22/06 judith maduro i'm working in a orphan house in aruba and coming year we r going 2 celebrate 50 years.we r colecting some info from what all they had during these 50 years.so a coleage told that they had a volkswagen bus in 1982.i was wondering if u have a pic of some information of vw 1982 of around those years for we,so that we can hang them up during the big celebration next year.thank you.(masha danki)

hey, this is my bus. i bought it wen i was 16 (when it was ugly white), then did it all up inside out then they bloody thing went up in a big flame! as they do.............. then i built it up again except with a complete $2500 pro sterio, moral of storey- CHECK FUEL LINES!!! IT WILL HAPEN TO YOU SO DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here are some pictures from my long-preped, long-awaited trip from Springfield, MO to Bellingham, WA. The trip started on backhighways from Missouri, across Oklahoma and through the panhandle, in through northern NM, up to 11,000 feet around Toas NM, through the NE tip of Arizona, up in to SE Utah and through Moab. From there we booked it on the superhighways across central and Northern Utah, through southern and SW Idaho, in to NE Oregon, through southern Washington, on to Seattle, and to our destination near the Canadian border, Bellingham, WA!

In one-and-a-half years, this bus went from a salvage vehicle in northern Arkansas to a cross country traveler! These pics were taken in the desert, my favorite landscape in the U.S.
