11/24/03 Jeff Herzog I took 4 inches out of the front beam. I need to take about another 1-2 inches for better clearance though.
11/24/03 Fer Hi Jeff, what did you do to prevent the tires from touching off the body. Dont the wheels go out too much?
Did you changes only the arms or the all suspension?

11/27/03 jeff simmons I narrowed the beam 4" to get the tires back inside, but when down on the ground they do not turn. I'm trying to come up with an easy way to get some turning radius out of it.
11/21/03 Fernando G.Panzzi Hi Jeff, Wath did you do to prevent the tires from touching parts off the body. dont the wheels go out too much?

After two weeks of cutting, hammering, narrowing, and lots of removing, I'm finally starting the air cylinder installation. All downhill from here. YEAH RIGHT!!!

I just wanted to share my project bus, a 1957 23 window with anybody interested in doing the same to theirs. I'm lowering it to sit on the ground, installing disc brakes with wide 5 adapters, (which means I had to narrow the beam 4 inches), and installing air cylinders. (air bags)

12/10/04 Alexis Prappas - Brazil Hey Jeff. I realy enjoy the look of your lowered bus and i wish to do it on my bus. Can you send me some information on my email? I will be very grateful. I dont intent to install the disk brake, and im using the original iron weel 14".
Thank you very much. Prappas
11/11/03 Jeff Simmons The headaches I'm refering to is all the trial and error involved in a project like this. I normally build drag race cars, and this is quite a stretch in the other direction. Plus when I started this, I could'nt find any info anywhere I looked.
11/07/03 Jeremy Hoggard Jeff, what headaches are you refering to?
11/05/03 jeff anyone interested in taking advantage of my painful learning experience to make it easier on yourself, e-mail me, I'll be glad to save you some time, headaches and money.
