My 1975 Fleetline being used for a photoshoot on a Cape Town beach, South Africa. Cape Town is a famous location for film and photo shoots. The Atomic Kitten video for It's OK was shot at the same location and features a 356 convertable and later on a quick shot of a Yellow Split Panel

13 Splits gathered at a recent meeting of the Kombi Owners Club of Cape Town, South Africa. The meet was on Paul Cochrane's farm just outside of Cape Town. Only 12 kombi's on the pic, poor Farouk couldn't make it to the set on own steam - hope he'll join us next time.

Pictures from two recent meetings of the Cape Town Split Window owners. Cars featured are those of Deon de Waal (blue kombi), Erus Meyer (Blue Westy and Grey Panel), Jean Viljoen (maroon Fleetline), Gareth vd Weide (Yellow Fleetline), Paul Cochrane (Green Kombi camper), Janna Noorwyk (lime Fleetline) Archie van Aardt (grey Kombi), Hennie Binneman (crew cab), Henry du Plessis (light green kombi) and Christo Wesraad (navy Fleetline Panel). The last picture is of my Fleetline on a beach on False Bay - yes, a quad bike does fit inside if you remove the two cargo doors.

Here is my 1975 Fleetline panelvan with Jean Viljoen's 75 Fleetline Kombi at a viewsite on False Bay, between Gordon's Bay and Rooi Els. Fleetlines were Brazilian RHD buses assembled in South Africa in 1975, one year only.

12/21/04 Ginny Prins We used to go fishing at Rooi Els as kids. Will be back there in summer 2005/06 to build an orphanage for http:www.MamaAmelia.de at least think that is the website.

My 1975 Fleetline. The Fleetline were sold in South Africa in 1975 alongside the bay window busses. The Fleetlines were imported as SKDs from Brazil in 1975, so this is one of the youngest splitties in the world.
