What's to say? I decided to take my broken bus camping this coming weekend, which starts on Thursday...and I did it...I fixed me bus!...not fancy or nice, but it's done!

07/13/02   I am glad to hear that it will return to the road someday. So many people would have junked it and looked for a different bus, but buses are slowly dwindling away. Hope to see you and your bus on the Shasta trip next year.

One doesn't generally stop for a person ahead making a right turn...except that the person in front of me this time was swinging wide for a U-turn! Our poor '66 Westy smashed into the S*b@r* and then off the left embankment (10ft) and ended up on her side! She will ride again, I swear!

Me by my '60 Crewcab on my way home from Santa Barbara. We spent the night on the coast north of Santa Cruz. You'll notice my bad posture from the cold, the strange sleeping position I was in during the night, and driving hunched over....not a good thing to do!

Here's a collage showing three pics of my compressor setup....what I had to do to keep water out of my lines for sandblasting, painting, etc. And I stuck some pics of my '66 bus in there to make sure that I was playing by the rules...

Here's what I did to keep those bugs and bits of dust out of my fresh paint: $150 Home Base carport, plastic, a tarp, 3 fans, and lotso ducttape...There's pluses and minuses to this design...check out my site or email me for info..
