11/01/03 Jeff What a killer looking bus, I am trying to build the same one using stock suspension with air cylinders. Lots of cutting and welding. I LOVE IT!!!!
07/24/03 Jason Oh by the way I dig this one off!!!!!! Very cool!
07/24/03 Jason Hi Dave,,I have been trying to get in touch with you for some time...I have been emailing you but have had no reply back. I really want to order a polished westy rack from you. I am interested in ordering your 6 bow 3000mm rack in polished stainless. I was also curious if I could order the rack with the wood slats undrilled??? I am looking to customize the length of the rack and do not want it to run the entire length of the bus. This is what I found when I converted millimeters to inches and came up with 118" as the overall length of that rack. I think I may also need to make it a 5 bow rack if I shorten it. Let me know what my options are or if I am wasting your time!!! Thanks and cheers Jason Oh I live in the U.S.

Thought you might like to see our last bus. It started life as Kombi ambulance. We pressed in the 8 skylight and 2 extra side windows. Had to reverse the rear door.

11/15/02 JAKE 420 Super Sweet!!!!!
11/09/02 Ronnie Laursen If modifications are done properly as in Julian Daltons and Dave Palmers buses i can only do one thing: APPLAUSE. The other way around, as in my bus, when the previous owner simply took a jigsaw and cut 8 "skylight" holes, then you can talk about "2 years later mod-regret". The job was done back in the 80, and now i must get the bus back in style. What would you do ? change the hole roof(its rustfree) weld some metal in the holes (does it flex) or try to modify the modification to something nice (skylights). The bus is a doubledoor standard from 65'. Almost rustfree as it comes from Norbotton, Sweden (rustfree area), but a callooker. Cheap offcourse, only 600$, due to the "roofjob".
(i know a picture would help)
Question: why is a modification done in the sixties so cool, when a fresh modifications
is making a lot "put their nose in the sky"

Greetings
Ronnie Copenhagen

11/09/02 thayer The only thing I see that would need to be changed on this bus are the wheels. While they look fantastic right now, wheels really date a vehicle.

just my thought..
11/09/02 Horice Thenethly You Muppet!! have you ever seen this bus in the flesh?
Nothing is going to change "two years down the road"
it will still be fantastic, and worth more than it is now!
11/09/02 Ayrton Sei un Grande
11/09/02 RALPH hi dave

i also own a 65'swiss army ambualnce and a roof of a samba. how did you reverse the rear door?

have a look at http://aircooled.mediateam.ch
11/08/02   Ronnie Laursen, do not attempt to destroy your bus as this bloke here has done already, believe me you will regret it two years down the road.
11/08/02 Ronnie Laursen Very nice, looks expensive ! Was it real skylight frames that were welded in the roof ? How did you solve the "roofflex" problem. Need the same job done on my bus, thats why i'm curious.
Greetings Ronnie, Copenhagen
11/08/02 cornish dragon Another great bus Dave !
Hopefully have the rest of the rear safaris
for happyvan off you soon
cd
11/08/02   Yeah its way better now, than it ever could have been as an ambulance. You brits got too much time on your hands.
11/07/02 Dave Palmer The wheels are American Racing 7x 17 Chrome Aeros. They are ford 5 stud. I made Billet Hubs for the front discs and rear drive flanges so they fitted without adaptors. It is tight! Our busmaster socks make it all work.
11/07/02 Dave I really need the space...anyone interested in this bus?
11/07/02 Daniel What type of wheels are those?
I want some for my van
11/07/02 Paolino incredible...you are crazy...i like your Little Bus...w VW!!!
