I have just recently bought into this whole Spilt screen VW camper thing. This 'little' goddess is a real treasure. She is a very rare 1966 right hand drive production westy imported in to the UK from OZ. The only thing she has had done is a new canvas around the pop up and a recent respray.

No, I didn't paint it. I had it painted at Earl Shieb and my buddy is going to paint pearl ghost flames on it after I install the engine. It was sprayed with Dupont chrome yellow and white with 3 coats of clear.. yet to be color sanded than ghost flames applied and sprayed with another coat of clear, than cut and buffed to a show shine. I am finishing putting together the top end of my New 1776cc engine with ported and polished 042 heads, straight cut cam gears, 110 engle cam, full flow remote oil system, and dual 44 weber IDF carburators. A little more info on what is going on. P.S. the bus is a 1966 Kombi and by bug was a 1963.

Imported to Canada by origional owners from Germany who immigrated in 1966. Origional curtains with only 145k. stock 12volt system and h4 headlights. Bought off them in Sept 2005.

bueno, no quiero aburrirlos con mi kombi, pero la verdad es que cuanto mas la miro mas me gusta, y quiero dejar las ultimas imagenes antes de que entre en renovacin total. kombi 1966 motor 1500cc

1966 Kombi
This is a New Mexico bus that ended up in Connecticut in 2001. I bought it in November 2005. It has very solid dog legs, undercarriage and floors all around, but the rockers and a few other small areas need some attention. Mechanically its in great shape so I'll focus on bodywork from now until spring and hope to be camping by May 24th long weekend (Canadian holiday) - plans are to head to the Allegany mountains for the first trip - my childhood yearly camping trip was always to those mountains so it seems a logical place to start :)

consegui esta vw kombi del 66 escondida en un rincon de la ciudad de Lima,Peru. este mes comienzo con la restauracion, lo mas complicado va a ser el chasis, ya que la carroseria se encuentra en exelente estado.
